TERRACOTTA TREATMENT – 0536

CHARACTERISTICS
This treatment protects floors, worktops and objects against oil, grease, water, alcohol and household products stains. It leaves no visible film.

APPLICATION
Do not apply on hot soil, exposed to the sun or below 15°. Apply in 2 to 3 coats with a brush, a sponge or a wetting machine on a new or old, clean and dry floor without any trace of wax, varnish or other treatment, which would cause a bad penetration of the product and a bad drying.

– On new floors: after drying, prepare the floor by removing cement efflorescence with our stripper 0820 for terracotta only (see data sheet 0820). When the floor is dry, apply with a wide brush, a sponge or a wetting machine the 0536 treatment in abundant and regular cross layers. Ensure proper distribution and no excess. Drying: 4 to 8 hours and more between each coat. Repeat the operation if necessary.

– On old soil: it must be free of any previous treatment and dry. To clean and remove finishes and pre-treatments, use our 0901 Heavy Duty Cleaner. After rinsing, let dry well, then apply waterproofing agent 0536 (see ¤ previous). Finishing: after a drying time of 72 hours or more, we can apply a finishing that will give a satin aspect, with our palm wax emulsion 0722 or an unequalled shine with our Terres cuites patina wax 0007 (see technical data sheets).

– Cleaning of brushes: with White Spirit.

– Yield: 8 to 10 m2 per liter.
