POLYESTER RESIN FOR PUTTY – 0601R

CHARACTERISTICS Can be mixed with powder sealants: 0602P, 0603P and 0604P (furniture, bodywork, boats, etc.), 0605P (floor-tile repairs). Fills, glues, reconstitutes wood, metal, polyester. This polyester resin based putty has a wide range of uses: furniture, carpentry, bodywork, boat, windsurfing, molding, screw threads. It solves many difficult problems, outdoors, indoors or underwater. Its presentation in the form of powder and resin to be mixed allows to adjust the viscosity according to the work to be done as well as its beige color that can be modified with powder pigments (see our numerous Decorative Earths). After polymerization, it can be worked with a chisel, gouge, file or machine.
APPLICATION
Note that the catalyst is contained in the powder, so you need to add enough for polymerization to take place. A temperature of 20°C is recommended.
COLORATION
Mix a small quantity of Decorating Earth with powder 0602 P. Test mixes to check color. It can also be dyed with gold or silver metallic pigments. The necessary quantity is prepared as you go along. Curing takes approximately 10 min at 20°C. Tool cleaning: with acetone.
