APPLICATION
Apply in 2 coats on dry, dust-free and very well sanded, brushed, patinated, stained or natural wood – the final result depends on the wood preparation. The wood can be treated with Waterproofing Oil Repellent 0570 which does not alter the colors, especially for gray wood, Stain Protection 0516 or ceruse with Ceruse Oil 0618 or Ceruse White Paste 0509 (see FT). After these operations, the wax is deposited very regularly cold or warm (water bath) using a quality wide brush. After drying (4 to 5 hours or more) use a manual brush or a waxing machine for small surfaces. For large surfaces, a single brush equipped with a floating plate and a hard bristle brush, turning at a speed of 350 rpm. This is to even out the surface and remove any brush marks. The 2nd layer is done under the same conditions. The finishing polish is more precise, it will give durability and shine.
