PORE-FILLER AND POLISH POLISH – 0004

CHARACTERISTICS
This polish is composed of beeswax, Carnauba wax and other hard waxes. Its solvents, very little fat, allow it to dry quickly. Its very special formulation allows a fast work. It is used for the preparation of patinas, waxed filling, or to give a waxed aspect to cellulose varnish, polyurethane, etc..

Available in #0 Clear, #3 Light Oak, #6 Dark Walnut, #5 Medium Walnut.

APPLICATION
Waxed filling: on a natural or stained wood, dry and perfectly sanded, apply the polish with a cloth pad in such a way that the pores are filled (turn the pad in a circle and in the shape of a figure 8), then remove the excess wax. After drying, use another pad (woolen pad wrapped in a thin cloth), soak it with a little varnishing alcohol, then put a little encaustic on it and turn the pad. Repeat the operation 2 to 3 times and then dry the pad until the shine is obtained. Let dry and polish with a wool cloth. This application is recommended for a wax finish on our Hard Shellac 0506 (see technical data sheet).

Waxed aspect of varnishes: is obtained on a perfectly dry varnish by applying the encaustic with a brush in thin layers. Let dry and then polish with a wool cloth.

Brush cleaning: with White Spirit.

Coverage: 8 to 12 m2 per liter.
