Description
CHARACTERISTICS
This water based insulating primer allows wood oxidized by our grinders 0848, 0842, 0844 and other products to keep their light grey color when applying a varnish or a wax. It cannot be used as a finish.
PREPARATION
Greyed-out wood should be seeded and dusted.
APPLICATION
It is applied like any other varnish, with water by spraying, or with a roller machine or a brush, in 1 coat. For aged and brushed wood, a second coat may be necessary. Preliminary tests are recommended.
Finish: This base can be finished with any water-based or waxed finish (test beforehand). We offer our water-based polyurethane matte varnish 0220 (see FT).
Cleaning of tools: with water.
Coverage: 8 to 10 m2 per liter depending on the porosity of the support.
