PASTEL RUST PROTECTOR – 0862

CHARACTERISTICS Decorates, stops and protects. Available in White, Blue, Green, Pink, Yellow. Satin finish. This pastel protective varnish contains corrosion inhibitors and guarantees the metal against new aggressions. Its film remains flexible.

PREPARATION
The metal must be dry and free of grease. Remove rust dust with a fine wire brush.

APPLICATION
Apply 1 or 2 coats of Protec Rust Colorless 0861 with a brush or spray gun. When Protec Rust 0861 is perfectly dry (8 to 12 hours), apply Protec Rust Pastel in the color of your choice using a brush. This varnish lets the metal appear. This application can be nuanced by wiping with a dry brush or cloth to increase the effects of patina. Let dry 6 to 8 hours at 20°. Then, if you wish to reinforce the protection, apply a coat of Protec Rust Clear.

Drying between each layer 6 to 8 hours at 20°. Its maximum hardness is obtained after 24 to 48 hours.

Cleaning of brushes and dilution for spray application 5 to 10 % : with White Spirit.

Yield: 15 to 18 m2 per liter.

STORAGE
Always repackage the product in a smaller package suitable for the quantity remaining.
